Jan Titsworth returned to her birthplace of Mena, Arkansas in May, 2000 after residing and working twenty-eight years in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She began studying art full time in 1980 after a traumatic experience that left her disfigured and, transformed forever.

Jan studied art at Delgado University and the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. She completed a four-year apprenticeship with portrait painter Robert Maniscalco in 1996, where she helped Maniscalco develop and teach his “Power of Positive Painting” workshops.

Jan combines art and hypnosis for her “Awakening Creativity” classes and enjoys a large following of dedicated artists, many of whom credit her classes with their success. She incorporates a personal, expressionistic style of painting that evokes strong emotional response and healing.

Her two children’s books, Trouble on Bunny Boulevard and Elsie, the Wonder Dog are available in hardcover, paperback, and e-book formats on http://stores.lulu.com/jantitsworth. Jan is also a certified hypnotherapist. She offers custom hypnosis CDs designed to assist each individual in reaching his or her goals and dreams.
